As a place of historic interest, really fascinating, with some very old features.

Dickens link. Saw a display board with the adockens link and good to see some information up. And the medieval door too. It was open so we went in. Jaunt around. Marshes nearby very dry.

Lovely church with links to an old priory which housed nuns. The doors are often opened for anyone wanting to visit which has a nice interior and is a quiet place to sit. Worth exploring if your planning a walk across the marshes to Cliffe fort. Have used the church as a back drop for some great photos.

Open daily this church is full of history and has some ancient features. It was a Dickens connection too. Park by the wall just past the gate.

This is a real gem. Medieval door and pulpit , beautiful windows with stunning colours and Charles Dickens daughter got married here. Right outside there's a Victorian letterbox.
